According to Football Insider, Leeds United player Wilfried Gnonto might be sidelined until November or, at worst, early December after undergoing ankle surgery.
Daniel Farke has previously revealed that Gnonto will be out until after this month’s international break owing to an ankle procedure.
According to Football Insider, the striker might be out for up to eight weeks in the worst-case scenario.
The 19-year-old was replaced in the first half of last week’s 0-0 draw with Hull City after colliding with defender Scott Twine, and he now faces a lengthy absence from the first team.
The winger has one goal in six appearances this season after appearing ready to leave Elland Road during the summer transfer window.
Gnonto eventually stayed in Yorkshire, and his current contract expires in 2027.
The Whites are anxious to prevent rumours of a January exit following a turbulent summer window in which the player clashed with the club administration and, for a while, trained alone.
Everton were interested in the player but were unable to reach an agreement in the summer.
