Leon King was pulled off the pitch against St Mirren due to an injury.

The defender was engaged in what appeared to be a minor contact with Curtis Main, but the Rangers youngster was hurt the most. As doctors came on the pitch with a stretcher, Ryan Jack was brought in to replace the 18-year-old.

The problem adds to a lengthy list of Gers injuries that includes Ben Davies, Connor Goldson, and Filip Helander. Ryan Jack came in as a substitute for King, but there were concerns for the defender as the game was delayed for seven minutes, adding to the tension at SMiSA Stadium as Gers look for a winner after James Tavernier’s penalty equalise.

Danilo, a Rangers attacker, was taken to the hospital earlier today after sustaining a horrific ‘facial fracture’ in a head collision with St Johnstone’s Liam Gordon.

Rangers forward Danilo was taken to the hospital in the middle of the game when he and St Johnstone’s Liam Gordon collided heads during their Scottish Premiership encounter.

The 24-year-old Brazilian joined Michael Beale’s team from Dutch champions Feyenoord this summer for a rumoured cost of approximately £6 million. So far this season, the Rangers forward has scored two goals in nine appearances, one of which came against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

On 16 minutes, the striker soared into the air to beat Gordon to the ball, latching onto a fantastic James Tavernier cross to put his team ahead. Danilo, on the other hand, was forced to leave the fight after he and Gordon clashed heads.

The horrible collision happened as both players lunged for the ball in the air, only to collide heads, leaving both of them bruised. Danilo’s face began to inflate instantly.

Danilo was almost immediately hooked after the clash of heads, despite his best efforts to reassure the Rangers doctors that he was fine by giving them a thumbs up.
