The current list of all the Tottenham Hotspur players who are on loan is supplied by Alasdair Gold in his recurring round-up. Tanguy Ndombele’s fitness difficulties, Joe Rodon receiving a red card, and Troy Parrott scoring are among the news items.

Ange Postecoglou had to send people out of the team in order to give his squad some balance this summer with a lot of fresh faces joining the team.

There were and still are several supporting cast members at Tottenham who have better prospects elsewhere but were unable to complete a long-term transfer this summer. A loan decision therefore benefits all parties.

A few young players have also temporarily left the club for the season in an effort to gather crucial experience and press their claim on a berth in the Spurs first squad.

How are the Spurs loanees faring?
Alasdair Gold discusses all of the activities and comments made concerning the Spurs loanees in his article for Football.London.

First up is Tanguy Ndombele, who is still having difficulty. The Frenchman has yet to make his Galatasaray debut, and Sky Sports’ Batuhan Karadeniz recently criticized him harshly, saying the midfielder needed a nutritionist (via Super Haber).

Sergio Reguilón, on the other hand, seems to be having a good time at Manchester United right now. The Spaniard took part in the midweek Champions League loss to Bayern Munich and played 79 minutes against Burnley the following day. Even so, Manchester United’s “best player” for the match in Germany was the 26-year-old (Manchester Evening News).

Despite “earning plenty of plaudits” while on loan at Leeds United, Joe Rodon was dismissed in a 0-0 draw with Hull on Wednesday.

Japhet Tanganga is now sidelined due to injury, but Augsburg expects him to play again next month.

Troy Parrott has arguably been the most impressive of the loan players this week. With a goal in the 88th minute, the young Irishman made his Excelsior Rotterdam debut.

Parrott, according to Gold, “received the ball on the edge of the box and curled a beautiful shot into the top right corner, leaving the goalkeeper helplessly watching on.”

Finally, Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine, two of Tottenham’s most promising young players, continue their development on loan.

The former played 12 minutes over the weekend and 19 minutes during the middle of the week, but it is anticipated that “those minutes will continue to rack up” because his Ipswich boss is a “big admirer.”

Devine, on the other hand, played for Port Vale for just over an hour during the week but was relegated to the bench for the weekend’s games. He has thus far gotten “plenty of praise” while on loan with the League One team, but it is still the “early steps” of his career.

It’s wonderful to hear that Troy Parrott has scored, and perhaps this is only the beginning. I’m keeping a careful eye on Dane Scarlett since this will be a true test for him in the Championship.

It just continues getting worse and worse for Tanguy Ndombele, and he is now unquestionably a lost cause.
