Stuart Dallas missed two days of action in 2018 due to a fractured foot, according to Rob Price, head of medicine and performance at Leeds United, who also called Dallas one of the toughest athletes he has ever seen.

Dallas, 32, has not played for Leeds since breaking his femur in a collision with Jack Grealish against Manchester City over 17 months ago. He has since, however, resumed his training at Leeds.

Leeds supporters are now thrilled that the versatile ace might return to play soon after learning that the Northern Irishman is back in training at Thorp Arch. However, Dallas requires a lot of patience.

Price emphasizes this while also describing Dallas as one of the “toughest” he has encountered, mentioning his injuries from last year as an example. Dallas reportedly played so frequently under Marcelo Bielsa because of this, according to him.

“I don’t believe anyone has ever had to deal with the injury that Stu had. To be clear, this is still a component of rehabilitation. He may be in training again but that does not make him eligible for selection. There is a need to increase training volume.

Incredible. Imagine breaking your foot and returning after 48 hours for rehabilitation. But Dallas’ performances exhibit that amount of fearlessness and dedication. He’ll be similar to a fresh signing.

Due to that injury, he missed two months’ worth of games. He has missed a lot more games this time, but perhaps he will soon be able to add to the 267 matches he has already played while wearing a Leeds jersey.
