Michael Duff, the manager of Swansea City, has stated that Kyle Naughton and Joe Allen will miss time due to injuries.

Midfielder Allen, who had been selected to start the South Wales derby, was forced to leave the game late after injuring his groin during warm-ups, and defender Naughton has been dealing with a calf issue.

Josh Key and Liam Cullen, who were removed from the game at Queens Park Rangers due to injury, are expected to return to competition soon, according to head coach Duff, who also stated that Allen had consulted a specialist.

Joe Allen will be delayed, according to Duff.

He has seen an expert, so we must wait and see because there are two or three potential outcomes and the specialist needs some time to think about them.

Naughts hasn’t played for us since the Bristol City match, and he won’t be back for a time.

“It’s really unlike Josh, so we don’t know what’s going on with him. He is a very athletic young man who consistently ranks high in the running stats, yet after 25 minutes he claimed to feel as though he had run a marathon.

Therefore, we must determine whether he is ill or whether we need to look at recovery techniques.

“Culls took a blow to the ankle but said he could run and help the team, so he gave himself up to try and help the team,” the article reads.
