During the game with the Steelmen, the Welshman was forced off before the interval.
Rangers’ injury difficulties continue as Rabbi Matondo limps off during the match against Motherwell.
With Michael Beale’s team ahead 1-0 thanks to Cyriel Dessers’ deflected shot, the Light Blues’ injury list grew as the in-form winger pulled up with a knock. The Welshman looked to hurt his knee as he pulled up without a Motherwell player near him.
He attempted to complete the Scottish Premiership match but was unable to shake the knock despite receiving treatment, prompting manager Beale to replace Matondo with John Souttar. It adds another name to Ibrox’s expanding injury list, with Tom Lawrence also ruled out by the club.
Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin are also absent. Kieran Dowell is still out with a knee injury.
