Leicester City’s starting custodian Mads Hermansen claims that the team is “finding new solutions” to maintain their strong start to the Championship season.

A sixth league victory in seven games came on Wednesday with a 2-0 triumph at Norwich City.

As they adjust to working with new head coach Enzo Maresca, it puts them in second place, one point behind leaders Preston North End.

According to Hermansen of BBC Radio Leicester, “We’re improving every single day and every game, we find new solutions.”

“I adore being a member of this team and how we operate. It’s perfect for me.

The victory at Carrow Road was another indication of progress for the Foxes as it was their first league clean sheet in five games.

Denmark Hermansen, a 23-year-old under-21 international, joined Leicester’s revamped team this summer after the club was relegated from the Premier League. He was acquired from Brondby.

Hermansen agrees that Italian Maresca served as a member of Pep Guardiola’s coaching staff at Manchester City and that Maresca is a ball-playing custodian for the Leicester squad.

“He (Maresca) gives me a lot of responsibility, and I really appreciate that,” Hermansen added.

“I enjoy attempting to control the game. It’s up to me to locate these little passes because often teams leave me open and play man-to-man with the other players.
