Danilo, a Brazilian striker for Rangers, broke his cheekbone during the victory over St. Johnstone, according to manager Michael Beale.

At McDiarmid Park, the 24-year-old attacker boldly nipped in front of Liam Gordon, a defender for St. Johnstone, to score the game’s first goal.
However, the defender finally ran into Danilo in a terrible head-on collision, and both players had to be replaced in the game because of injuries.

Michael Beale has revealed that Danilo underwent surgery for a broken cheekbone. Watching Rangers supporters feared the worse when the midfielder was seen laying poleaxed on the deck in Perth. Greetings from Scotland!

The game was terminated abruptly due to the injuries to the two players, according to Michael Beale.

They definitely lose one to a concussion, and he also suffered a cheekbone fracture. Danilo.

“So we’ll have to wait and see how long he’s out, but he has a fracture there on his face, is gone, and hopefully will have surgery.

“Team that is experiencing an extremely terrible moment. Danilo has had a few things going on and has had these past two weeks to throw himself into fits, go, and score.

“Danilo’s injury at the time was a really big moment for him.”

When asked how long Danilo could need to recover from the injury, Michael Beale responded:

“Yeah, I just asked the doctor in there, and he told me the news, which is obviously bad to hear.

We’ll need to look into what to do, but you could see from the swelling right away that it was a horrible one in terms of timing.

Danilo, a rumoured £6 million summer acquisition from Feyenoord, generated enthusiasm when he was first introduced in St Johnstone.

And even if tragedy was to strike right away, Michael Beale’s trust in the striker was rewarded with the goal in the 15th minute.

Danilo’s header demonstrates his natural hitting ability; let’s hope he recovers fast from his injury and rejoins the club.

After the game, the striker posted a message on Instagram encouraging his followers as he attempts to get over the difficulty.
