UFC fighter Gilbert Burns attended Everton’s Premier League match against Arsenal at Goodison Park as a special guest before meeting some of the team’s top players at the club’s Finch Farm training facility.
Currently ranked No. 4 in the UFC Welterweight division, Burns has an impressive 22-6-0 professional fighting record. In addition, he holds a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Burns visited the renowned Grand Old Lady to experience the atmosphere and watch the Blues take on Arsenal during his visit, which was made possible by Everton and the UFC’s official partner Stake.
The 37-year-old put Club stars Jordan Pickford, Ashley Young, James Tarkowski, and Ben Godfrey through a variety of MMA-based challenges at Finch Farm, capping off his trip to Merseyside. The Brazilian was also given some football tasks in exchange for having his skills evaluated.
