The Nottingham Forest striker might escape his City Ground nightmare by joining Saudi Arabian club Al-Ta’ee.
The Reds are determined to get rid of Dennis this summer. He no longer trains with the senior ranks and is open for transfer.
Rudy Galetti now alleges that Saudi Arabia is showing interest. Al-Ta’ee is currently 11th in the Saudi Pro League and has struggled to find consistency.
Dennis would undoubtedly welcome the opportunity to leave Forest. He only had two goals last season and was unable to maintain a regular starting spot.
More was expected of the 25-year-old following his £15 million move from Watford. He never seemed to persuade Steve Cooper and will not participate this season.
Should he sign with Al-Ta’ee, he will have a fascinating Forest connection. Alfa Semedo, who was formerly on loan at the City Ground, now plays for Saudi Arabia.
Dennis earns £40,000 per week at Forest, and removing that from the pay bill would be quite beneficial after a summer of spending.
Dennis, a Forest striker, could be on his way to Saudi Arabia.
This would be a fantastic move for all parties involved. Dennis’ salary would very certainly be increased, while Forest would be relieved of a surplus player.
Simply put, it hasn’t worked out for Dennis at Forest. He signed after scoring 10 Premier League goals, but he didn’t fit Cooper’s style at all.
Dennis is a competent player. He’s simply to blame for Forest’s decision to play with a formation that didn’t see much of him previous season.
Hopefully, this transaction will go through. Dennis has to play football this season, and ideally, a solution can be reached that is in everyone’s best interests.
