In Week 9, the Las Vegas Raiders defeated the New York Giants against all odds. Star wide receiver Davante Adams said that the team badly needed a celebration

The organisation underwent a number of significant changes prior to the game. Only a few days prior to the game, general manager Dave Ziegler and head coach Jsh McDanieols were fired. Additionally, rookie quarterback Aidan O’Connell started in place of veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.

It’s obviously very impressive to come out on top in these circumstances heading into the week, which is precisely what Adams said spurred the cigar celebration.

Adams told reporters of the celebration that most teams save for championship wins, saying, “It’s definitely different.” But in the end, anyone who has faced the kind of hardship this year is understandable. They’ll never know why we felt that way and lit cigars in the changing area as a result. It was most definitely justified for that to occur.

It obviously hasn’t been the best season for Las Vegas, which prompted their drastic changes at head coach and general manager.

Their win in Week 9 may not turn around their season completely, but it certainly has to be a morale boost to win in the first game of interim head coach Antonio Pierce.

They will look to keep the ball rolling in Week 10 when they face off against the New York Jets, which will likely be a winnable game for Las Vegas given the Jets’ notable struggles in their own right this season
