John Cena Discusses How Much He Enjoyed Working  Bray Wyatt In WWE

John Cena remembers working with Bray Wyatt with great fondness.

Prior to WrestleMania 30, Cena and Wyatt initially crossed paths in 2014 when Cena’s championship match at the Royal Rumble was ruined by The Wyatt Family. Even though Wyatt would lose to Cena at Mania, the rivalry was far from ended. A youngster at the door stopped Cena from leaving the Steel Cage match at Extreme Rules as a result of the growing rivalry.

Speaking on WWE’s YouTube channel’s Break It Down program, John Cena talked about their rivalry’s last match—a Last Man Standing match at Payback 2014—during his appearance. Cena went into further detail about Wyatt’s inventive mind and how it was a pleasure to compete with the previous World Champion

It was a lot of fun performing with Bray. In that sense, we were of the same cloth. Both storytellers and wishing to engage in strange activities. Additionally, I believe that he and I have always embraced each other’s creativity and tried to do new things. The Firefly Funhouse matches those that are the ideas that originate from a single unique person, using the child at the cage door. He was always more concerned with the art and the narrative than he was with anything’s physicality.

2020 saw a resurgence of the rivalry when The Fiend pursued Cena for a match at WrestleMania 36. Wyatt’s brilliant inventiveness comes in handy as the pandemic forces everything to change.

However, the audio is not appropriate for work, particularly when Jim Cornette talks about the Blood and Guts stipulation, as anyone who has listened to his podcasts knows all too well when it comes to the hardcore stipulation matches and the work of The Young Bucks.

The November 1st episode of Dynamite will be broadcast live from the KFC Yum Center in Louisville, Kentucky, just a stone’s throw away from Castle Cornette. Hoping to capitalise on the opportunity, Jeff Jarrett has extended a formal invitation in the hopes that Cornette will be in attendance.

Speaking on the My World podcast, Jarrett was asked by Conrad Thompson if he planned on bringing Cornette to the show. The Hall of Famer responded that it would be an honour to have Cornette in the crowd:
