Following Real Madrid vs. Barcelona on Saturday, October 28, Four Lads Had a Dream made a lighthearted comparison between Jude Bellingham, a star for Real Madrid, and Scott Wright, a midfielder for Rangers.

The England international’s reputation is growing at Los Blancos, after he scored both the game-winning goal and the equalizer at Camp Nou.

Wright, who has been mockingly likened to several elite players, was also included in this conversation by the official media partner of the club.

“I’m willing to admit he’s better than Scott Wright,” they stated on Twitter. But it’s still quite close.

Wright’s future at Ibrox is undoubtedly questionable, and Philippe Clement will have a few months to decide what to do with him.
Turkey seemed to be quite interested in him, and it appeared that he was ready to walk away from Ibrox in the summer.

Journalist Gordon Parks of the Daily Record claims that under Philippe Clement, Rangers are shown a “appetite” to work hard for one another—a quality that was lacking under Michael Beale.

Beale, who made nine summer signings, suffered the price for a poor start to the campaign at Ibrox, and Clement was selected as his replacement.

After Rangers thrashed Hibs 4-0, they played a commendable goalless draw against Sparta Prague in the Europa League. Parks is encouraged by the early results Rangers is producing under Clement.

In the print edition of the Record (October 28, page 53), Parks wrote, “Organisation, structure and a group of players showing an appetite to work and play for the team which was absent while Michael Beale was in charge.”

Fight, battle, battle

To be frank, there wasn’t much present in the last few days of Beale’s employment.

Parks is correct that there was undoubtedly a lack of hunger among this Rangers team; there was a lack of understanding, coherence, and talent.
It’s crucial to keep expectations in check because Clement has only played in one league game, so it’s clear that we’re still very early in his career.

However, it is encouraging to see Rangers play with greater passion, vigor, and strength. These are the cornerstones of any successful professional football club and what they should be doing at all times.
