Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons ahead of the team’s bye week came to headlines for speaking against the critical opinions of the media.

During a Wednesday news conference, Cowboys star Parsons did not hold back and blasted the media’s treatment of his team with the reporters.

Parsons made his strong stance against the media, calling them “big bullies” that will have “something to say” no matter if Dallas wins or loses.

The All-Pro edge rusher claimed his Dallas team is criticized more by the media than any of the other teams in the NFC East.

Previously, he also spoke against the media for their coverage of quarterback Dak Prescott and the team following Dallas’s 20-17 win on the road against the Chargers.

Parsons stated, as cited by Clarence Hill, Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram,

It’s not true. They’re carrying out my instructions to the letter. They will have something to say whether we win or lose. People perceive me as being afraid of criticism. The issue is not criticism. Just be as critical of everyone as you can.

He continued,

They bully people just as much as these other guys do. Individuals choose who should get breaks. That wasn’t how I was raised. I am equal to all of them. I treat everyone equally and extend the benefit of the doubt to all of them. I base myself on that kind of actual person. Many of these guys are fake.
