Wests Tigers halfback Luke Brooks was photographed with his football celebrity pals on a luxury yacht in Sydney on Friday, enjoying his bucks party.
The veteran halfback was spotted with friends including ex-Bulldog Josh Reynolds and Parramatta star Mitchell Moses as they prepared for a day of partying on the city’s famed waterfront.
Moses can be seen carrying a bottle of vodka while standing close to a mystery woman in one photo acquired by Daily Mail Australia.
Brooks is clutching a beverage in a little plastic cup and smiling as he prepares to board the boat in another photo.
The group of young men can be seen drinking and joking after boarding the luxury yacht and heading out for an evening on the waterfront.
Brooks proposed to Tahlia Kormanyos on Instagram in September 2021, and the couple had a daughter.
The halfback’s four-year deal with Manly concludes his difficult 11-season spell with the Tigers, who never made the finals.
‘Luke is a superb halfback,’ according to Manly coach Anthony Seibold.
‘He possesses a superb left-foot kicking game and is an excellent football runner.
‘We believe he will complement the spine players we already have at our club.’
On his way out the door, Brooks took a scathing jab at his team, bluntly expressing his unhappiness with the organisation’s apparent lack of direction.
‘To be honest, I’m not sure who makes the decisions here,’ Brooks told the journalists.
‘Just having everyone on the same page and making the proper decisions to move ahead (would be in) the best interests of the club.’
Brooks made his NRL debut with the Tigers in 2013 and has long been considered a future star.
NSW Origin rookie Bradman Best has been linked to the Wests Tigers in what would be a huge assist to their 2024 effort to escape a third straight wooden spoon.
While nothing has been confirmed, the Tigers are allegedly interested in both Best and Moses Suli of the St George Illawarra Dragons.
According to News Corp, if the Newcastle Knights’ boom centre isn’t signed by the November 1 deadline, he may fetch about $800,000 on the free market.
The Tigers have some depth at centre, with Starford To’a, Brent Naden, and Asu Kepaoa pushing for positions ahead of Josh Feledy and Triston Reilly, who are less experienced. Best, on the other hand, would be a walk-on starter in the position.
