According to Romano in his exclusive Daily Briefing column, the brilliant young Frenchman hasn’t quite gotten going at PSG yet, and it appears he will be allowed to go on after being on the radars of both Crystal Palace and Eintracht Frankfurt recently.
Ekitike might be a fantastic acquisition for Palace, who would undoubtedly profit from acquiring in a great young forward player to grow around in the coming years.
The 21-year-old would undoubtedly benefit from a move to Selhurst Park since it would provide him with the opportunity to play more often having previously catching the attention at Reims but failing to get into the first-team very much at the Parc des Princes.
It remains to be known if Palace will definitely be back in for Ekitike, so the scenario appears to be fluid ahead of January.
“Hugo Ekitike – The young forward will leave PSG in January, let’s see which clubs will try to sign him as it remains a quiet situation at the moment,” Romano said.
“It’ll be for December.” He was on Crystal Palace’s list, but nothing further was confirmed; he was also on Eintracht Frankfurt’s list.”

United opened the game strongly, controlling possession and creating chances for Rasmus Hojlund, Casemiro, and Facundo Pellistri, but failed to capitalise on those chances, a fact that would become the Red Devils’ theme of the game.
What made matters worse for United was that Palace were able to take the lead against the run of play by scoring the game’s only goal on a wicked volley courtesy of Joachim Andersen, whose shot took a slight deflection off Diogo Dalot’s shoulder to just take the ball away from a helpless Andre Onana.
The second half was almost identical, with United pressing Palace into their own half and packing the Palace box with players in an attempt to convert opportunities. United felt they had gotten back into the game thanks to a Joel Ward handball, but VAR overturned the judgement.
Later in the game, Palace believed they could have got a penalty due to a Sofyan Amrabat handball, but VAR refused to award a penalty in this case as well. Palace were eventually able to hold on until the final whistle and revenge their Carabao Cup setback to United earlier in the week, leaving Ten Hag and his players with a lot to think about.
