The 23-year-old midfielder is on loan from Arsenal and has already made two starts for the Hatters in their fight to stay in the Premier League.
The Belgium international started as Luton Town earned a Premier League point with a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.
However, he is now scheduled to miss two months owing to a hamstring injury, which he expressed disappointment over in an Instagram post.
‘I believed it was my turn to enjoy this wonderful game called football and work hard to assist my teammates attain our team objective,’ Lokonga wrote.
‘Unfortunately, one injury slowed everything down. During that period, I’ll concentrate on my recovery and provide assistance to the team. We’ll see you in a couple of months. ‘God is always good.’
