Dan Pike, defender for Tranmere Rovers, has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the League Two club until the end of January.

In August, the 21-year-old signed a one-month contract and has since made six appearances for the club.

Interim manager Nigel Adkins stated that his “application” resulted in the new contract.

“We are pleased for Dan that he has extended the opportunity to keep developing and fight for a longer-term contract,” Adkins stated.

Tranmere Rovers are thrilled to announce that defender Dan Pike has agreed to extend his contract until the end of January 2024.

Pike signed a one-month contract with the Club in late August and has excelled with his performances since then, earning him new terms.

So far, the 21-year-old has made six appearances for Rovers, appearing at both right and left back.

Nigel Adkins, interim manager, said: “We are pleased for Dan that he has extended the opportunity to keep developing and fight for a longer term contract at Tranmere Rovers following his efforts, good character and application so far.”
