Dan Pike, a defender for Tranmere Rovers, has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the League Two team through the end of January.
In August, the 21-year-old signed a one-month contract and has already made six club appearances.
Nigel Adkins, the interim manager, said that his “application” resulted in the new contract.
We’re happy for Dan that he’s given himself more time to improve and pursue a longer-term contract, Adkins added.
