Tyrese Campbell experiences a setback due to injury
The Potters, who are currently 20th in the Championship, have had a rough start to the season as they have gone five games without a victory.

Neil’s day became worse when Campbell was forced to leave the game early in the most recent setback, a 3-1 loss to the Tigers at home.

The manager also provided an update on a few other players while speaking to Stoke-On-Trent Live, and it’s not good news for Campbell.

“They’re all coming closer every day, but I don’t think he’ll be any time soon—and by that, I mean for the current game—and I don’t think Ryan Mmaee will either. Sadly, Tye Campbell will also take longer than we had anticipated. It’s a strange injury that involved his hamstring.

How severe is this setback for Stoke?
At his best, Campbell is a terrific asset for Stoke because he possesses all the necessary physical qualities and combines them with superb left foot skill.

The 23-year-old hasn’t been at his best this season, though, and in five league games he failed to score or record an assist.

However, it’s a blow since Neil would want everyone at his disposal if the side was suffering.

Naturally, you feel bad for Campbell as well. We are aware of his history with injuries, so this will no doubt cause him great anguish as he attempts to kickstart his season.

How much time will Tyrese Campbell be sidelined?
When the forward will return is unclear, according to Neil, but if he has a hamstring problem, he won’t be playing for at least a few weeks.

It’s not promising that the supervisor called it “odd,” so you may expect more information to surface in the ensuing days or weeks as they run additional scans and texts to determine just how serious the situation is.

As previously said, Stoke’s situation is not ideal with Mmaee also absent, and Neil now has a new issue.

When will Stoke City next play?
The Potters will travel to play Premier League Bournemouth in the League Cup tomorrow night, providing a pleasant diversion from the league this week.

That will undoubtedly be a significant test for the team, but if they put on a strong performance, it’s a perfect chance for those on the outside to establish their claim.

The Scotsman will undoubtedly prioritize Stoke’s Saturday match against Bristol City at Ashton Gate after that. It will be intriguing to watch how he leads the team.
