Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham, will be avidly searching for a replacement for Ivan Perisic after the seasoned Croatian sustained a catastrophic knee injury during training. Perisic has had to make do with cameo roles because Destiny Udogie has taken over the left-back position and Son-Heung Min and Manor Solomon have shared the left-wing responsibilities. In the Bournemouth match, where he and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg were both introduced while the game was flowing in the Cherries’ favor, Postecoglou first realized his worth to the club coming off the bench.
