Newcastle United have entered the competition to recruit Gabriel Moscardo, a 17-year-old Brazilian star who has been linked with Chelsea and Barcelona.
According to iG Esporte, Newcastle United are interested in signing Brazil youth international Gabriel Moscardo and have entered the bidding process. The 17-year-old star has been on fire recently, and he is attracting a lot of attention from all around Europe.

Gabriel Moscardo was promoted to Corinthians’ first team in July of this year. He has, however, already made 14 appearances for the main team. This season, the youngster has appeared in 26 matches and logged over 1,700 minutes.

He is a major potential possibility, and some of the top teams are interested in the Brazilian defensive midfielder. Chelsea has expressed an interest in bringing him aboard. The Blues even made a €20 million bid with €2 million in add-ons.

However, the Brazilian club was not satisfied with that offer, preferring a total package of €30 million, including a €25 million original price and €5 million in add-ons. Chelsea were interested in signing him, but they did not agree with Corinthians’ value of the 17-year-old.

As a result, they have cooled their interest in his services for the time being. They may, though, re-sign him when the winter transfer window opens. Meanwhile, other teams are keeping a close eye on him.

Newcastle have done some excellent transfer business since their ownership. They may not have spent a lot of money on players. They have, however, signed some great young talent. Moscardo is regarded as a potential asset by the Magpies. He has the potential to become a pillar of their squad. As a result, they are preparing to deport him from Brazil.

While the Magpies have joined the competition, they will have to compete with Barcelona for the services of Brazil’s Under-23 international. The Catalan giants hired Oriol Romeu to replace the vacuum left by Sergio Busquets, but he is only a short-term solution. They want a young midfielder who can assist them in the long and short term.
