The Iowa Hawkeye women’s basketball team has had quite a run with the national media for the past 2 years and that attention has led to a book being made about this year’s team. The best part is the book is being created for Iowans, by Iowans.

When you’re team makes a run at a National Championship for the first time in school history and you have one of the greatest college basketball players to ever play the game, it’s not very surprising that the Daily Iowan, as well as the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Iowa, would like to capture the experience.

Not only will you be able to capture a little piece of history with this historical Iowa Hawkeye team, but you’re also helping out a fantastic cause. $1 of all pre-sales will be donated to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, according to Hawkeye Sports.

This Hawkeye team has played in the historic Cross-over at Kinnick basketball game this season. A game that blew a previous women’s basketball attendance out of the water. Caitlin Clark is setting scoring records every single time she touches a basketball, and getting a little sneak peek behind the scenes will be an incredible keepsake for Iowa women’s basketball fans.

The Book will be published by Melissa Tully, a professor and director of the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as Jason Brummond, the publisher of The Daily Iowan.
