Pittsburgh — The Pittsburgh Steelers have reduced their chances of making the playoffs to just one game, but there are still a few ways the black and gold might qualify. The Steelers will try to finish their schedule with a victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the regular season finale. Should they
choose to do so, three games will determine their chances of making the playoffs: the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the Tennessee Titans, the Buffalo Bills taking on the Miami Dolphins, or the Houston Texans taking on the Indianapolis Colts.
A Steelers loss would affect their AFC records in the tiebreaker with the Jaguars when it comes to the Broncos vs Raiders game. The one-on-one showdown between Pittsburgh and Jacksonville would not occur since the Broncos would tie the Steelers and Jaguars, making it a three-way tie. After all three, Pittsburgh would have the best conference record.
Mason Rudolph will start for the Steelers as quarterback in Week 18 for the third straight game. In the meanwhile, the Ravens decided to rest Lamar Jackson and start Tyler Huntley. Trevon Lawrence, the quarterback for the Jaguars, is listed as questionable due to injuries to his fingers and shoulder.
