Nottingham Forest transfer news from Nottinghamshire Live as an out-of-favour striker accepts a move to Trabzonspor in Turkey.
A deal to Turkey for Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis is said to have fallen through.
Trabzonspor are rumoured to be interested in the 25-year-old, who has not played for the Reds this season. There is less than a week until the Turkish Super Lig summer window closes on September 15.
Trabzonspor’s scouting staff, according to Turkish site Sports Digitale, generated a “positive report” on Dennis. Al-Tai, a Saudi Arabian firm, is also claimed to have been interested in Dennis, but the opportunity in the burgeoning Middle Eastern market has closed.

Trabzonspor, according to Own Goal Nigeria, have opted to look at Dennis’ countryman Paul Onuachu, who is likely to depart Southampton following a terrible tenure on the south coast. According to the Daily Mail, Onuachu will undergo a medical before being transferred.
Dennis signed a four-year contract with the Reds 12 months ago after leaving Watford. He struggled to make an impression last semester and is yet to appear this term.
Forest increased their attacking resources before the deadline on Friday. In the last 24 hours of the transfer window, they signed striker Divock Origi and winger Callum Hudson-Odoi. Anthony Elanga had previously joined Steve Cooper’s side earlier in the transfer window.
The Reds made 13 new signings at the City Ground as they looked to improve their position in the Premier League. However, they also allow a considerable number of players to leave, either on loan or permanently.
Greece, like Turkey and Saudi Arabia, has an open transfer window. It will close on September 11th. Forest players Giulian Biancone and Cheikhou Kouyate have been connected with Olympiacos, another Evangelos Marinakis-owned club.
