Powerhouse Kurt Capewell of the Brisbane Broncos and Queensland Origin is headed to Auckland after being signed by the Warriors with one year remaining on his deal.
To strengthen their group for the upcoming NRL season, the Warriors announced on Thursday that they had signed the 30-year-old. He will sign a three-year contract with them right away.
The 189-cm, 100-kg forward has played 139 NRL games for the Broncos, Penrith, and Cronulla since making his NRL debut in 2016.
The Broncos announced on social media that they had released Capewell from the remaining portion of his contract and thanked him for his two years of service to the team.
